Burt/all, got my hands on a few records over the weekend, as per your suggestions. I'm always game when someone wants to turn me on to something. I especially dig "Red River Rock" by Johnny & the Hurricanes, which is a cut I fairly remember my late father playing on the stereo when I was a kid (my Dad loved his "Rebel Rouser" album) ..... I found Chet Baker and am truly digging on "Summertime." This guy was truly a genius, albeit a tortured soul. And of course there's Lightfoot, who I've recently "rediscovered." His "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" is something else, man. Just for kicks, I'll mix things up with Gene Kelly's "Singin In The Rain" and George Baker's "Little Green Bag" and David Bowie's "Thursday's Child" and ZZ Top's "Rough Boy" and, yes indeed, Elvis Costello's "Men Called Uncle." ........... AW, I hear ya on the cussin' thing and quite agree with your desire to redirect board discussions. Burt, for what it's worth, I think your FINAL assessment of things was bang on the money.
