DO YOU HAVE ANY STORIES ABOUT THE ALL STARRS THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US? ALSO I HAVE LONG ADMIRED ARTISTS WHO GIVE SOMETHING BACK, AND YOUR WORK WITH THE VARIETY CLUB AND OTHER CHARITIES IS HEARTWARMING. I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO MEET YOU YEARS AGO, AND IT WAS MEMORABLE. Burton, the pleasure is ours. We buy the albums, attend the concerts, but to actually be able to THANK YOU, it's just SO much more personal than screaming in an auditorium along with a few thousand others! I had the pleasure of briefly meeting you at a promo gig for Up Close & Alone at the HMV store in Calgary and I walked away wondering how ANYBODY could consider you a jerk (having heard a few stories over the years). Whenever I've seen you in concert or on television, you always seem so GENUINE with your comments and your interactions with the fans. Even though it was an autograph session and they were herding us through like so many sheep, you took the time to say a couple of words to everyone who stopped by. It was a real treat. So for myself, and for all of us I'm sure, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
