>Last nite (or rather early this morning a black cat was chasing our Holland Lopper around the back yard. I let the rabbit in the garage and placed the cage there as well for its water and food. Later in the morning I let him back out into the back yard. Later in the day (early evening I noticed the rabbit was laying down in a usual spot on the patio. I sat next to it so not to disturb it and picked it up. I decided to put him in its cage and in the garage for the nite so to avoid another confrontation with the cat (if it did come back). However, I noticed he was breathing heavily. I had heard that rabbits can die from heart attack if chased by a cat? I felt his body with my fingers up and down and it did not show any discomfort. Is he hyperventilating? What should we do?
