Hi,
Good news to hear you have some medicine to help your
rabbit. Re fever, there is probably a way to take your
rabbits temperature, the vet would know. The only rabbit
I ever had with a temperature was a rabbit who reacted
to the RHD vaccination. I knew she had a temperature
because she went off her food and her ears were really
hot. The vet confirmed she had a temperature and I was
given a dosage of soluble Asprin to place in her water
bottle (you need the dosage to be correct to do this and
the vet will know). I ended up keeping her in air conditioning (it was a hot summer) and the Asprin saved
her life as far as I am concerned. Mostly though, I haven't
seen many rabbits affected by fever.
Kind regards,
Marguerite
