We have almost the same problem. We bought Penelope at a pet store 2 months ago. She was 4.5 months old. Now I realise why people want baby rabbits. She won't come near us, won't be handled, scratches (my hands & arms will never be the same) and generally only seems calm when she is eating and we are far, far away.
We bought the rabbit for our 9yr old son who wanted this particular bunny, but he doesn't have a chance of getting near her as we certainly can't. We love Penelope but it is incredibly frustrating having a pet that won't allow us to love her!
