Subject: needing answers for Hamish

My beautiful boy, Hamish passed away on Friday. A month earlier he was wrongfully diagnosed with myxo. His symptoms were enlarged urinary-genital area with pusy blisters. He was given antibiotics, topical antibiotic cream & I bathed his back region with salt H20 twice daily. He seemed to improve, then on Friday morn he was so ill. However the previous night he appeared to be OK. I took him to the vet & after taking an x-ray & attempting to catheterise him (to no avail)they said it was out of their league. I took him to another vet who performed surgery - I was told part of his bladder had necrosed & his bladder & abdominal cavity where full of blood clots. They also stated one side of his bladder wall was thickened & the other side very thin & his bladder would no longer be viable. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT HE MAY HAVE HAD? A TUMOR? Handsome Hamish showed no signs of discomfort, pain or lack of appetite up until Friday morn.
