++Hi,
It is really unusual to have two unspayed male
rabbits living together in harmony.
I can't explain it but I definitely would not use this
odd example to recommend people keep un-desexed males together. I have been called out to remhome male rabbits
sold to a family as kits who grew up together, were
housed together and then started tearing each other apart.
The backyard breeder who gave these people the wrong
advice that males could live together traumatised the
girl owner who was trying to overcome dyslexia and ended
up crying every night as she heard the bunnies fighting
in their hutch. I apologised to her mother for the greediness of the back yard breeder who let them have two
male Dutch kits for only $5 each and said they could live
together. The bad advice given here led to injured rabbits
and a traumatised mother and daughter who had hoped the
rabbits would have bought some joy into their lives.
They wanted nothing more to do with rabbits after this.
It was all very sad.
Marguerite
