Sue,

First of all, get rid of the pellets with the seeds. Seeds can cause blockages in the bunny's GI tract...no dried peas, beans, or nuts, either.

Secondly, although I have never given any of the bunnies any tree branches to chew on, I understand that willow is safe. There is a website called The Busy Bunny that carries products made from willow.

I don't have too many bunnies interested in chewing anything but plain old cardboard boxes. They chew holes in them and make tunnel entrances from box to box. It keeps them entertained for hours.

A female bunny will become aggresive if not spayed and a male will "spray" if not neutered (not a pretty sight or an easy mess to clean). By spaying/neutering you are not only preventing accidental breeding, but you are preventing male/female cancers that can occur in animals. A good vet who knows bunnies can perform these procedures without any major problems and this can help keep your bunny happy and healthy for years.
