Ah litter training..isn't it soooo much fun??!!!!
Every bun is different and takes it's own time!! Some take to it right away and others need time. Still others will take to it, but then have lapses. What I have always done was start out giving the bun access to only one small room or a hallway blocked by a pet gate with the litter box in it. Buns will usually pick one spot to pee in, so after finding that spot that's where you stick the litter box!! I also found it helps to lure them into the box by putting hay in the box so they can munch and do business at the same time!!!! Well once they consistently go in the box then give them access slowly to other rooms one room at a time. Whenever my buns had lapses after this phase, they started right back to square one to the one room. Your bun is young and it gets easier after the "teenage" years and they mellow out!!!! It's not hopeless!!!! Investing in a hand vac is a life saver too!!!!
Let me know how it works out!!!
Cheryl
