Subject: fighting females

I have two female rabbits that have always lived together and gotten along, although one is more dominant than the other. Over the last six weeks they have started fighting, not all the time just on and off. today i noticed that the shyer rabbit has fur missing behind her ears, altough it doesn't look sore it must have been pulled out as she was fine yesterday. They have plenty of freedom as they have the run of most of the garden, they eat well and i live in the UK. Should I seperate them permenantly? please help!
