Subject: Eye disease

I had a bunney when i was 16 years old ( 33 now ) anyways my bunney was fine or seemed fine , till one night she started twitching around real bad in pain and crying, she had like pink eye or something that she was taking medicine for, that was not the name of it its been so long i dont remember but before she died my mom took her to vet and she was on eye medicine a cream of some sort, shed been on it like a week or 2 maybe . but when she started acting weird we rushed her to vet and she died on the way there , they said she died to the eye infection . i am interested in buying a bunny for my family but was wanting to know if they have any cure for this now , is this a common thing among bunnys still . i was so sad when that one died i never got another one .. id hate to lose another one to that . i know my bunny died a painful death ... any ne know what it was or any advice ? thanks , dennie
