Subject: In praise of Julian Barnes

The work of Julian Barnes profoundly affects me. So beautifully written. Amusing and thought provoking, his work never fails to inspire. There are a few public figures I would miss if they were not around. Julian, along with Woody Allan,Stephen Fry,Billy Connelly,Bob Dylan,Frank Field MP,Gore Vidaland Arsene Wenger, among others, make the world a more tolerable place to live.One never feels alone when you have free and original public thinkers who have integrity and passion for their genre.
