Subject: Can someone tell me the system requirements for snes9x?

I have a pentium II 266 mgh 64 megs of ram and enough hardrive space. Any game I play is slow and choppy. And the music skips like hell. I've tried messing around with the sound buffers and such but to no avial. Can sombody help me with a smoother running snes9x? Your help is greatly appriciated. Thanx in advance.
