although as you say, if people "already" see her outside. why would they still wants her on their cover and magazine??? They must have known that the reader will know it right a way, since they know what she look like outside. From the clip of her making movies and going to promotion. I don't think they/she "retouch" her image. She still look skinny. Sometimes people gain weight and loss weight, so we cannot tell. As for fake eye-lashes,and wigs. It's personal style. EAch actress have their own style and I like her style. SHe knows what it makes her look pretty. Every girl wants to look pretty and I guess Fan Bing bing is not exceptional since she in entertainment industry with fierce competives. I wish I know to to put on make up like her, to make my eyes look big.

If the retouch is true, then it might be the magazine director choice to resize it! If you watch Ugly Betty then you will know what I mean. If you talking about her heght, then it is clearly that she stands on a block to make her look elegant and once again it was photographer request.
