Bingbing is very comfortable in her own skin, and she has never tries to deny of being a foodie and weighting a little more than the entertainment average. She often makes self-depreciating jokes about her weight and claims to be very lucky to have a misleadingly-small face.

But to accuse her of paying and demanding her every pics fixed is not only preposterous and heinous, it's border to personal attacks. Frankly my dear, Bingbing is not powerful and influential to the point that she could easily commmand and demand the top fashion magazine editors. And it's not in her character to do so. Perhaps, it may be a surprise to you that Bingbing often tells those editors to keep her look real. But as long as market believes "skinny is pretty," whatever Bingbing says will not change the minds of these fashion magazines.

And we as fan of Fan Bingbing do feel very lucky that despite of her less-than-an-industry-average body weight, that she's still highly popular and loved by Chinese magazine editors, and not to mention those top makeup artists in Maindland China. They love to work with her, as an editor claims, because she's very versatile and radical, her shots are powerful and beautiful in whole, especially the expression.

Bingbing is not shame of being a little bit fat, and has shown not intention of going on a diet, not even the pic you'd posted was mocked and laughed at. And please do not find an easy justification for how Sohu is treating Bingbing, their feud runs deep and goes back to history!
