Potter's 5508w schematic -- New 3C

Subject: Potter's 5508w schematic

If you read this Potter,I have a few questions about your schematic for the 5508w decoder.
At the output there is a 220/16 elect cap facing different ways in the schematic and overlay,which should I regard as correct? Also can I use a 20mhz parallel xtal with case to ground instead of the ceramic resonator? Other than that I think it's a masterpiece.
