trust me, im a guinea pig breeder. Ann, she probably is pregnant. If you hold her under her front arms(like you do with a child)so shes standing on her back feet, if theres babies there, theyl be noticible depending on how far on she is. The average pregnancy for a guinea pig is 2 months so you will find out soon enough. Towards the end shell look REALLY big and you will be able to feel the babies. When theyre born (if she is pregnant) they will be eating solid foods, eyes wide open, running around and biting you the next day. If there are any problems with a baby when it is born, the mother will ignore it. This is where you come in. Remove the sack from the babies head first and place the babie near the mother. she will eventually take care of it. If it gets left out when it comes to feeding time, just feed it RUSKS(baby food) through one of them squeezy things you use to put stuff in youre ear when you have ear ache(what they called???)Do this for 2 weeks max and itl be fine.
As for telling the sex, females have a 'Y' shape and males, 2 VERY small lumps and, well, you know.
Any problems, email me
