My rromate left for out of town a few days ago and asked if I would watch her guinea pigs. She noticed that one was fat (she was unaware of the sex of her two animals) but figured it was nothing. The other day I went to clean the cage and lifted the "house" and was shocked to see three small babies. Now, I am not sure what exactly I am suppode to do , considering that the babies were born without anyones knowlege. Two look good and healthy, the other has a few blood spots and I am wondering if it's from the male who was left in there for how many hours, or from birth. The parents are now speperated, each in a different cage, but the male seems to be chewing on the wire bars of the cage, the side closest to the other cage with the female and the babies. So how do I care for the babies? Please help.
