Hi,I was in the band with Butch from 1969-66.I also remember his son working in the motor pool I believe.My dad(died in 1982) were friends when they were young and used to play in dance bands together.

Butch was agreat comfort to me when I was in.I was 17 and it was my first time away from home.He spent a lot of time listening to me groan,and he helped me over some rough patches-at least I thought they were.

I stopped in to see him and Della wwhen they were living in Greenbelt.Glad to hear they're still with us.

I've moved back to Penna. and am completely retired.Please give my best to both.-Pete Cortese
