A churning swirling self-created maelstrom
Tossed about bobbing and fighting for each breath
Strength ebbing you reach out desperately
Grasp a traveler being tossed about like you
Hold on tight and share the pain
Rise above the storm
Intensity increases
Hold on tighter
Buffeted about but surviving
Relax and smile
Ripped apart by forces unknown
Plunging down into the maelstrom again
The vortex takes you
Darkness
