My bparent reunion gone horribly wrong.

Hi, Just found this board after a bad reunion experience. I'm 35 and searched and found my bmom..only took a week. We talked for 3 months before she came for a visit. I did want to wait longer before meeting her...try to digest all this information...but she insisted. She's now 65, never married, no other men besides my bfather. Sadly, she drove me crazy! Our personalities just clashed and there was nothing I could do about it. The story is so long and involved. I sent her an email and tried to explain why I was upset during her stay and she turned it all back on me. The good thing is I had witnesses (my husband) to her behavior so I know I'm not the bad guy.
Should I cut my loses and move on or try to repair the situation. I feel I need to move on, it's a poison relationship and I will never feel comfortable in her company. Especially since she talks so loud and give me a headache. Anyone have feelings or experiences on this
