I've hidden the messages concerning fake e-mails, attacks, etc. Unfortunately, because the legitimate messages were replies to some of those, there's no way to keep them from being hidden as well.
Until and unless there is some official verification that Ms. Dare is alive and well or that she did, sadly, pass away, messages about fake assistants, stalkers, and the like, will be deleted.
I had corresponded with someone I believed to be Ms. Dorothy Dare. I got a typo-filled e-mail a week or two ago, from the same e-mail address, claiming to be her assistant, telling me that Ms. Dare asked her to give me a new e-mail address. Switched from Yahoo to AOL. The assistant signed their name to the e-mail.
Oddly enough, a person of the same name has sent several e-mail through the Contact Admin link, claiming that they're being harassed by another poster. In those e-mails, she doesn't say a word about being Ms. Dare's assistant. In fact her e-mail address is in Norway!
So here's where we stand. It looks like there's some kind of personal feud going on, as well as some impersonation (the 'assistant' and possible impersonation of Ms. Dorothy Dare.) I'm keeping a copy of all e-mails sent, in case they're ever needed. There is also useful information from this board that I'm hanging on to, as well.
As I said, until we find out from official, reliable, VERIFIABLE channels about Ms. Dare, (or unless Missy-Jo asks me to step down as her co-admin) those messages about her will be monitored and deleted if need be. This isn't my board, but I do help Missy-Jo out, and I refuse to let it become either a place to impersonate/slander anyone, OR the stomping grounds for a personal feud.
