Subject: Being a goldie oldie (or a silver fox)

BB, hope you have had some joy in your searches if you are still looking a the moment, and if you aren't but are still at college, how is the course going? And just what are/were you studying for, you never did say!!!!!


Doesn't finding work when you don't want to retire bug you!!! You see adverts for part-time people that you are more than qualified for, get all the application forms etc and then you see the bummer. They operate a policy of enforced retirement at 65, and seeing I'm 66 in February that's me out of the running. I really don't feel so ancient that my mind has atrophied, and I can still type and answer the phone and other such things and I get a bit peeved at being treated like an old fart just because I have passed a certain number. Blurgh!!!!
