Subject: Scams by post

We have received a letter saying thank you for taking part in a telephone survey, you have won a prize, please phone the following number, which costs £1.53 from a BT landline and lasts 6 minutes, etc etc. Just went on line because it was addressed to David, who never, ever takes part in surveys on the telephone as he is partly deaf and generally just hands the phone over to me, and oh guess what, it's a scam. Now, do we stick their letter in an envelope, unstamped, and let them pay the postage in the hope that they have got us trapped in their system, cutting our name and address off the letter first, or do we just put it in the shredder? The on-line posting that I just went into actually suggested collecting loads of unsolicited mail, so long as it doesn't have your name and address on, sticking it into a large envelope and sending that unstampted, to the w********rs. Any suggestions folk??

Gilly
