We received a £40 voucher for our local garden centre/ farmshop/deli yesterday - there was supposed to be an open evening/presentation there a couple of weeks ago which had to be cancelled as only David & I responded, despite the fact that a £20 voucher was being offered for attending. Anyway, they rang us and asked if we would take part in an on-line questionnaire instead and we would still receive a voucher as a thankyou, so I agreed, and much to my delight we got the equivalent of £20 each. We spent £10 of it this morning on things like garlic breaded mushrooms, battered onion rings, has brownies, croissants and a de luxe chicken pie for our neighbour, Liz, and her friend Jean who is staying with her for a long weekend. Seeing we got £20 more than we expected it seemed a bit mean not to share some of it. They have some exotic thngs like salmon and other stuff pies, salmon fillets in a lobster and brandy sauce, scallops in sauce ready to be served in their shells, loads of different frozen fruits and veg, which are all loose and you take as much as you need and put it into a freezer bag ready to put in your freezer at home. Quite pleased with the outcome of a 10 minute questionnaire on line!!!!!
