The day of privacy has long gone, I don’t see the keeping DNA on file as being any different than keeping finger prints on file, as for rouge cops using the DNA I think you have been watching to much CIA or whatever other programs like that, I like the one with David McCallum as the coroner.
We have a case out here where they are challenging who has the right to search your garbage, it’s being brought to the courts by a guy who was convicted of making and trafficking in ecstasy, because the police had searched his garbage behind his house and found enough evidence to get a warrant to search his house, they claim his rights to privacy were violated by the police searching his garbage, therefore they shouldn’t have been able to get a search warrant to search his house.
What bothers me is that you find when people are complaining of there rights being violated it’s nearly always criminals.
