I once asked the police here about chucking out rubbish, Thingmy. I painted a huge painting, which I had on my bedroom wall. On one of my house moves I decided to take it to the tip/rubbish dump. About a week later, I was walking in the village when I was amazed to see my painting 'on sale' in a shop for $500!!! I asked the police if someone could sell my painting, and they said that anyone can take your stuff after you have dumped it. I guess this also then applies to whatever is in your rubbish bins.
