I must have been hiding then as I'm foonered this year. Our gas bill is up and and not just due to the price increase. Electricity is also up. I know I was working last year but the ducted heating has been on for what seems like ages. Our last two summers weren't the long hot summers we were lead to believe we'd have. Didn't happen as predicted. Which is good as I don't want 43 degrees for weeks on end. The odd day I can tolerate. They have had black ice and snow at Ballarat over the last week. More severe than in previous years so I feel that the seasons are changing. This winter I just can't get warm!
We are having a Collingwood supporter over to watch the game on Friday night so that should be good. Our boys are just saving themselves LOL.

Our cat had to be put down yesterday and Jan is upset today as it was his cat. I was scared of it. It had long ginger hair and green eyes. I used to call it Aslan. It was a stray we took in seven years ago and it had "Cattitude"
He could pick it up and cuddle her and I couldn't. She'd give me the evil green eye and I'd put her back down. Perhaps she's been mistreated before we got her as she certainly didn't like women. Briony and I could only feed her and that usually wasn't fast enough. It's true that dogs have masters and cats have slaves. I was a slave to that cat. Now I miss her funny ways.
