Senchus Mór Press Release:
Senchus Mór Welcomes Partnership with the Irish Political Status Committee
We are pleased to announce that the Irish Political Status Committee (IPSC) has officially accepted our offer to partnership on the Senchus Mór website, as well as to work together in solidarity on human rights issues. The IPSC
works for prisoner rights and political status, and like Senchus Mór, they also address issues of oppression, exploitation and discrimination. Photos of their recent Home Office picket are available at
http://irishhungerstrike.org/london.html
The IPSC is committed to building a strong anti
imperialist / Status now! contingent on the National Hunger Strike Commemoration through central London on 22nd September. They are also planning a public meeting, following the commemoration, with top speakers from Ireland on the current situation and struggle for political status. The public meeting will take place approximately 1 to 2 weeks following the Commemoration.
We look forward to working together in solidarity, and invite other human rights groups and individuals to join with us in addressing prisoners' rights, as well as in the international struggle against imperialism and colonialism.
