Was your job so bad? I feel sorry for you that you have this sort of warped attitude to the people who you were supposed to care for. I was an inmate in Polmont Borstal in 1970-71 and to be honest, I was less than impressed by the moral quality of the officers in charge. Some were OK but others were screwed up.. perhaps like you. Now, I have turned my life around after a bumpy start... Borstal helped me to understand my place in the world and although I had to endure the fellowship of vicious, egotistical, megalomaniacs, (the inmates were often dislikeable too) I stood on my own strength, found some moral fibre and built a good life. I have a range of qualifications. G&G electronics, Btec Diploma, HNC.. HND.. Bachelors Degree and a recent Masters Degree, Mth so I guess that your rant says more about your good self rather than the boys you probably abused.
