i was beginning to think i was the only one left john. yeah i have good reason to remember bro dominic, apart from his smelly cigars and crazy way of clapping, he gave me ten of the best because i kept absconding and the home office must have got on to him. after he gave me the stick i was sent to the kitchen for my breakfast but could`nt sit down cause the blood had dried and stuck my shorts to my arse.

i remember `prim`, also known as bro james and a bit of a tough nut, bro peter (gillette) who we caught shagging one of the kitchen staff in a ditch at the side of the path when we went out for a walk, old tommy moore and that guy who used to ask if you got the message, how did you get the message and you would reply with your eyes sir and his other favourite saying was `you play ball with me laddy, and i`ll play ball with you`. you got the message ok cause he had eye balls like ball-bearings!

did you go on that trek john over the pennines and then a stop at ampleforth abbey? we stopped at a pool with a waterfall and the priest who was with us (balding and fat) stripped off completely naked and jumped in!!!!!!!!!!

yeah they were pretty strict john, but apart from that it was pretty interesting given conditions at home at the time.
