I am looking for info on St Josephs in Manchester ( I think). I don't know if it was an approved or reformatory school, because my Dad didn't talk about it too much, although he took my Mum and me to see it one Sunday afternoon.! I know he went there in about 1936/37 when he was about 13 or so. His name was Thomas Donoghue ( nickname Steve for obvious reasons ) I am just curious about the place, cos I don't know too much about why my Dad was there, he was quite reticent about telling me and my Mum doesn't really know either, although I think my Dad used to recall it to himself ( if you know what I mean)
