Anyone know what borstal was used on location filming of Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner starring Tom Courtney?
The borstal in the film was called Ruxton Towers and when the BBC did a series about british films a number of years ago they took tom courtney back there but it was closed down as the windows were boarded up but it was clear it had been a borstal as the fences and locked gates were still there T>C>'s character was supposed to have lived in Nottingham if this is any help
