I was at GH for 11 months, as the man said; it wasn't a hard place and I don't recall ever being treated other than reasonably fairly, even the food was better than some of the other places I'd been to.
Spent a number of spells in the block, worked in various places round the borstal-ended up looking after the bonfire because I was 'uncooperative' that suited me fine though.
I've now been living a good life for donkeys years.
