Subject: I thought I'd be all torn up, but he was gone for grad week to the beach all last week. Kaitlyn and I LOVED IT! The house was spotless, there was no tension, no one rolled their eyes or huffed at us. Bliss. hahaha. I'm sure I'll cry when the time comes, but I'm convinced they are made to annoy the hell out of you for about 2 years, so that when it's time for them to jump ship you are there to push them off the plank. ;) Although, that being said, I wish it wasn't quite so far.

I need to start looking at things to do when they are gone - though Shads books list will keep me busy for the next few years and beyond...lol. -- Robyn, 14:13:52 06/22/09 Mon

My wrist is as good as it will ever get - I don't have full rotation - can't do palms up and when I finger people its sideways...lol*G* Most likely going to to have to have to bone shaved in a few years but I will put that off as long as possible.
Mike - he's a different story. Its been a really rough 3yrs for him. The last pacemaker surgery went really well but the healing took almost a year - which was in February - He is a fraction of the Mike that he was but works to get there everyday. He suffers from Post Tramatic Stess Disorder due to being awake with no anesthesia during part of one of the surgeries..not even local 'cause they had already given him the alotted amount and they were having complications.. while they were routing in his chest...collapsed lung, nerve damage and a lot more...all awake and in pain... and the whole mess that created for his perctoral and nerves and the slow healing. But, he is getting better and he...and myself and the boys....will never be the same after all we've been through but it could be worse. Now we gear up for next surgery which will be in 6-8yrs and getting him strong enough to go through it all again. He is actually contemplating going to school to be able to work with people with pacemakers but he's not quite there yet mentally. Was he ever? LOL...*G*
