Wish that this kind of transaction will change because Regine's reputation is always at stake! Even if she is innocent, some critics of Reg would rightaway coat it with controversy and make it appear that Reg has something to do with it or make it a reason to redicule her. I read some of the post in other lists and it seems the producers are giving out the wrong info in Canada. It appears that they're telling people she's sick.....and that the abrupt cancellation was Regine's fault. If Canadian fans are reading this post, please help pass around the info that the real reason why the show was cancelled is because they didn't pay Regine! It appears that they've (Regine's camp) been waiting for a partial downpayment as this is stipulated on the contract. That payment never materialized. So at the last minute, they had to cancel. The bad thing is, they say the concert's sold-out. Some Filipinos from the US travelled all the way to Canada to see her. And all they can tell these people is "Regine's Sick." The producer's telephone lines were disconnected (on purpose) daw and so at present, ticketholders can't ask for a refund. I hope the producers will try to do something to rectify their mistake. And it was made real clear to me when I started to get into this music monitoring on the web that I should be on the look out for those who will try to mess with your idol especially. Its weird to be told that kind of info at first. Because like everyone else I thought I heard everything about her. That's when I picked up my first important words of wisdom: Black can be white and white can be black I learned not to just look at the book covers but more important is the book contents. And allot of these articles we read about her seem to have some underlining information that is always missed by casual readers. Anyway.. regarding her Canada shows. I'm looking at it from a interesting point of view - How often does this just happen with all the preparations they went through? Its a very rare thing. Those producers couldn't have known that the artist really isn't a seasoned manager/booker of her own shows unless they worked with her before she started managing herself. So I think when her people start top sort through this mess to take a serious consideration that she may have been something done to her on purpose 'AGAIN.' I just can't believe so easily that 2-3 incidents should happen this close together. (She just had a thingy at Clark) If I was an evil being out to make her look bad I imagine this thing is a good way to do it. Can her camp consider that maybe the person who caused her US Visa problem was involve here too? Or someone else with the same intentions. I know the mastermind was never pointed out up to now. But I have no doubt in my mind all that mess was cause by someone who must be feeling that the more successes she has the more it'll make that person like bad. Go figure.. Which was suppose to be the official Regine web site. It was promised to be 'better' than the other site out there. Make a guess which one at the time .. RVTv even was giving away cool stuff? The word was that Regine 'promised' to make it the official site. And she even mentioned it on local tv. I know for a fact Regine DOES NOT break her promises. Unless.. she was misformed into breaking one. We now know where some of those in Reg's camp started supporting as an unofficial yet official fan site later on. The Music Inside Buzz now ties the webber of that site to the Canada incident. Indirectly as it may be. But still too BIG to ignore. Especially when several attempts were made to certain 'campers' that possible could have prevented the incident from even happening as bad as it did. Why was RegineTV.net cut-off from being the official web site of the artist as promised? Fans have been asking.
