Celebrities Who Are BIG Regine Fans..?

Greetings,

I noticed fans are mentioning about who are
also Regine fans among the local celebrities.

It'll probably be easier and much faster
to list who isn't. ;-}

Someone mentioned that Gelli 'u-know-who'
is now a fan of Regine. Based on those things
she said promoting Reg's visit to her show
before- on SiS.

But Gelli was always a Regine fan. Even when
you though she wasn't being one. Especially
during the time she was trying (acting) to be
rude to Reg before. In reality some of Gelli's
comments were more like underlying hidden
compliments to Regine she probably wasn't
being aware of she was giving. Talaga..

I remember some of the comments she made in
a few articles that still stand out if you
think about it- Remember when Gelli said
she doesn't allow (at the time) any of
Regine's music tapes to be played in the/her
car? Well..

Who was bringing in Reg's music tapes in
the/her car in the first place was the real
question that came to my mind. hehe.. And
if it wasn't Gelli herself who was then
whoever it was (among her pals) apparently
were Regine music lovers and so Gelli must
have liked hearing them too. Since she
allowed them to be played ;-}

I'll bet my family' best fighting roster
Gelli does owned a few of RV first albums.

She once made a comment in an article about
something that was indirectly a reference
to a song from the "1990" album! She may be
a closet fanatic in reality. I kid you not..

Its 'u-know-who-else' who I doubt was ever
much of a Regine fan before. When that person
was asked in an old article about performing
with Regine the first time that person told
his own manager- "why her?!"

Unbelievable, but true.

Just highlighting the difference between
those two mentioned. Its Gelli and Regine
who should have done a duet together!

The Joey Albert/Pops Fernandez
song- "Points of View" would have been
a good song for them to do.

Personally I don't put give much weight on
who most of our celebrities like or disliked
except those who deserved the same kind of
respect she got based on the level of real
talent they themselves had. Another short
list there.

The good opinions of music fans
carries more weight to me.

I've read about that article about Gelli not wanting to play Regine's record in her/their car. This came about at that time when Reg guested in SIS to settle the score between her, Ariel & Gelli. It was Janice who gave out that statement (Gelli's sister). Janice is the one who is a Regine fan. She said that she likes Regine's songs and when she plays her tapes, she makes sure that Gelli is not around, and that she doesn't play it in their car when Gelli is riding with her.

Thank you for mentioning that.

I like clarifications.

But I'm still sticking with Gelli being a "closet" fan
of Regine. Because as mentioned earlier - Gelli made a
reference to a Regine song from '1990' in an article.

Ok.. ok.. here's the hint -
it was the second hit song from the album.

Doesn't mean she could have owned it too. Darn. hehe..
Because she could have known the song from the radio.

But what really makes the case that she's a fan?

Regine did sing on her show before. Right? Anyone got
a copy? The camera does not focus on Gelli. Good thing
too.. because if you ever been on the TV stage before
you'll know that everyone can tell when the camera is
doing it. But you can still see Gelli's facial expressions
as clear as day..

And that, Regine friends.. is the look of someone who
admires someone's talent in the nice way.That also was not
the look of someone who thinks Regine stole her boyfriend
from her.

No envy from Gelli there. Which means another thing too..
If there is no envy for the person who supposely took
your boyfriend away at one time .. and her singing talent
may have had a big part of it happening.. then what
happened exactly..?
