Winning in any international singing contest would
be a good start for a music artist who is still new
in the music scene. Gives something to mention about
her in her articles. (so they don't have to make any
stories up) And for her fans a reason to be proud for
her. She is a pinoy like the rest of us, right?

I feel better for her winning in this one then I think
anyone was feeling for the win that Sheryn Regis had.
Strange, no?

Rachelle Ann news is relevant and Regine related?

After all, she was the winner on Reg's SFAF. And
then some of the people working with Ann behind
the scenes and in the background have professional
ties to the artist. And she sings songs Regine does
and her her hit song is a Regine-like song. A old
time personal favorite of mine. Though Ann is kind
of too young to fit the song properly..

" DON'T CRY OUT LOUD " Originally a hit for
30-something at the time Melissa Manchester.

Did you know that several Regine fans are involve
in the making and managing of Rachelle Ann's official
fan site? One of them also does a Regine fan site as
well.

And then there's this tidbit of mine.. It is believed
( because she has never answered back ) she was just
one of those zillion Regine fans writing in before
asking questions and information about RV's " Search
for a Star. " She was also on Friendster. I wanted
to follow her rise in the music industry. But she's
already there, I guess.. if you believe what you read
in the media. I think she'll do okay. Nice to see
another music artist that reminds you like the girl
next door.

In my neighborhood at least. hehe.
