Ito na actually ang kinakatakutan ko. I had the feeling talaga from the very start that this is not a smart project for Regine. Di naman masyado maganda ang storyline at plot ng FIMH. And she's too big na to do soap opera. J Lo, Madonna, Mariah, Whitney don't do soaps, they only do movies. I was in the Philippines on vacation last October, and I wasn't really amused by the soap. Only reason why I watched it is because of Regine at papa Mark Herras. Then there's news going around pa that Cindy is taking over the soap kasi mas napapansin sya than Regine. Even sa movies ni Regine, very light lang ang mga roles nya, and I only watch her movies because of her, and I guess people watch her movies because we forgive her on making the wrong and bad choices and trust her that she could do better and hope that she would come up with a better movie the next time, pero wala pa rin. Kumita lang ang mga movies nya sa takilya because marami syang support from her fans. Honestly, there is only one Regine acting project na nagustuhan ko talaga, and it was "Lobo" sa "Maalaala Mo Kaya" with papa Piolo P. She should do more heavy acting roles naman no. She should do movies like "Bituing Walang Ningning" or "Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig". Something that would showcase her singing talent, at hindi 'yong mga romantic at pa-cute na lang palagi na mga mediocre roles. Dapat graduate na sya dyan. Pero dapat talaga ang Songbird natin di pinatulan and FIMH na kasama ang parehas ng may asawa. Wala na kasing kilig factors sina Richard and Ariel. Si Ariel may konti pero si Richard wala na talaga. Sana ang itinambal sa kanya sina Dingdong Dantes and Wendell Ramos. And napuna ko pa talaga na sana makaabot sa Aria Productions ay ang di magandang acting ng ating idol. Tayong mga solid fans, laging nariyan an mga suporta eh paano yung ginugusto pa lang siya na baka biglang mawala. At dahil mahaba ang acting sa soap, kumukupas and natural acting ni regs. Sana next year gumawa na siya ng serious film. at hawakan ng dekalibreng direktor. Naniniwala ako na maiim-prove pa ng ating Songbird ang acting niya. She won already in Star Awards, she should keep her promise that she would do her acting better. At sana makarating din sa Aria Productions na wag na syang mag-ingles sa sa mga scenes ng movies niya or any interviews kasi medyo o.a. siya, ang dating sa masa eh pa-slang efek. Di maganda and feedback sa ibang manonood. Magtagalog na lang siya although alam kong totoo siyang tao eh lubuslubusin na nyang magtagalog. Wala namang mawawala sa kanya na panatilihin niyang natural siya on and off camera. Mas lalo syang mamahalin ng tao. Nakabili na ako ng ticket para sa Reigning Still concert. Bili na yung iba diyan. Am sure itotodo ng ating Songbird ang powers niya para bigyan ng babala ang balak umagaw ng trono niya na hanggang sa ngayon eh wala pa rin naman talagang papalit sa kanya at pwedeng tumalo sa kanya. You have to take in consideration the time period the show is on. If F.I.M.H. was being shown an hour earlier than the time slot it is in now the percentage of viewers would probably be higher by 5-10 rating points. (why the time period was changed from 9pm to 10pm is a good question to ask and wonder about. ( One of the artist's ex-handler who intriguingly is now a GMA-7 studio/ artist manager put the show she is more identified with in F.I.M.H.'s former primetime time slot. ) Don't worry about F.I.M.H. Regine fans.. As long as they have all those commercials being jammed into as many breaks as possible while it is being shown is still the best way to gauge how well that show is doing financially for the tv station. Those show sponsors know where the best place is to spend their money promoting their products. ;-) mmJun And then they even added a few more weeks to the show, di ba?
