VICKY SALVADOR
Backing Vocals& Percussions. Member since August, 2002.
Vicky began her voyage into the world of professional music in 1986. Before that, she was a Math teacher, Religion teacher and English teacher at Assumption Antipolo. Often mistaken for Julie Andrews because she would be seen walking down the hallowed Assumption halls with her guitar, Vicky would also arrange for and direct vocal harmony for "Sunshine", a group of girls with angelic voices with such personalities as Marilen Reambillo, Ludette Zaragosa, Tina Casas and Chevy Salvador. But the pull into the realm of entertainment was too much for Vicky to resist.
Indeed within Vicky flowed the blood of the famous Salvador clan in her veins. As she was quietly lulled into the entertainment world, she found herself teaching voice at JVC Music studio, she also took vocal and microphonic workshops with Atek Jacinto. You could say that Vicky began her professional back-up training while pinch-hitting as back up vocalist with Rage 1987-88 and again with the Rage reunion in 1990.
Soon after, Vicky decided to further her solo career by singing in Hawaii. Her musical preferences are jazz, pop, pop-rock and soul, and lists her musical influences as Sergio Mendez, the Capenters and RAGE. Probably finding life as a solo artist quite lonely, Vicky joined such bands as Quiet Storm, Lipstique and G-Latin upon her return. She soon found herself as a member of the OPM (Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mangaawit) and KATHA.
She has toured with Zsa Zsa Padilla and Martin Nievera in a 7-city US tour, and has sang for Julia Fordham, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez. She was also co-lyricist with her brother, Juan Miguel for "Pagsapit ng Pasko" included in Juan Miguel's solo album.

JUAN MIGUEL SALVADOR
Band Leader, Keyboards & Lead Vocals. Member since August, 1983.
Juan Miguel started his musical journey by studying classical piano. His first teachers were Ms. Aida Aligada, Monica Gadioma and Mrs. Mary Wright. In High School at La Salle Greenhills, Juan Miguel joined Kundirana. While in Kundirana, he met Jackie Lou Blanco who was the Bb. La Salle at the time. He guested in a couple of "Pilita & Jackie" shows which led to his solo singing career. He also submitted a song to the Metro Pop and became one of the finalists with the song "Magkaisa".
A sentimental musician at heart, Juan Miguel was closely identified with Barry Manilow's and Billy Joel's music. But joining Rage changed that. He recalls "I auditioned just like everyone else. I auditioned in front of Atek Jacinto--he asked me to play for him. I played "Somewhere Down the Road" by Barry Manilow. He said that he liked my playing...and introduced to me the idea of playing other types of songs. So he introduced me to the music of James Taylor, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Donald Fagen. These artists, I liked their songs when I heard them on the radio but I never associated their music to rock. I didn't know at that time about the pop/rock culture."
Juan Miguel has been an independent jingle creator for 16 years. In 1999 he decided to join Digitrax Recording Studios as a consultant/partner. Juan Miguel has had award-winning jingles, and won a CLIO Award for "Andok's Lechon Manok". He had a self-titled solo album which came out in 1993 and produced Jenine Desiderio's first solo album, under Sony Records.
