hi guys! I've been browsing around regine's various websites and i also chance upon a number of sort of speculative ideas being exchange among music fans as to why Lani quit her management company, Primeline under the Henares couple as well as the possibility of her moving to rival show ASAP Mania(c).
All I can say is that, if Lani is a good as she believes she is, then she should also know that SHE OWE BIGTIME EXPLANATION to her legion of fans out there who are seeking the real reasons behind her sudden leaving. Where is right now as one of local music's priceless divas she owe it bigtime to her followers. I'm not much of a big fan of hers in as much as I am to Regine but I do admire her talent coz' in some ways she has dintinct vocal qualities. she only needs to develop her own unique vocal style.
One other thing, if she do move in to ABS as speculations say, tis' sad. Last year she had turned down the ABS offer because she valued her friends more than money. Besides, ano ba nangyari sa mga career ng mga former GMA artist who move there like Vina Morales,DJ Mo, Long Mejia, Dagul...sumikat ba sila lalo? Noh? They were there because pinasikat sila ng GMA-7 before ABS pirated them. To say Lani was given less preference by GMA over Regine is ridiculous. She was given her own talkshow the way they wanted it. Even the launching of her first album was held in SOP with Ogie singing with her. Her concerts were given ample exposures & plugging. It's sad if Lani's career would stale down (if she moved to ABS) much like her predecessors. The only good thing ABS did was pirating artists and exploit them AND copy GMA7's ideas.

Actually, i heard sa SIS kanina na Lani is now based in Las Vegas and she got a contract from an International Record company (they did not mention kung anong company yun)...
I don't know kung Press Release na naman nila ito (kagaya nung sa Mariah Concert at Whitney Concert) or totoo na ito...

Hindi yata siya record deal, it's a performance deal with Bally's Hotel in Las Vegas. Parang series of shows simillar to what Martin is doing.

Lani fans are asking me to present the actual postings
on some of the information I had posted in one of her
fans yahoo groups recently.
It was above Lani on a planned duet with a popular hit
foreign male artist that did a concert here in the country
not very long ago.
According to the Lani fans who may still have some access
and communication with the artist have said that the
information I posted (good as it sounded about Lani)
may have been more false Lani news reporting because
Lani herself have stated she has no idea about them.
I'm been still trying to track them (the local released
music news articles) down. This should be interesting
and I'm betting- revealing. Because it could prove what
was being questioned about before.. that alot of the media &
press releases on the 'Nightingale' before were mostly
false overstating shamless media hype meant to present
the artist on the same level as our real music superstars
were. Don't get this wrong.. you may like the artist but
when stories are being questioned by even music professionals
then its time to look into what is actually going on.
This one story is still being tracked and investigated.
So stay tuned. Our Lani fans and friends deserve to hear
what the results and conclusions are first.
