Obviously, JM in Vegas is a LANI fan, no doubt and he/she would do anything to promote Lani in any way he/she knows even if it means becoming Rregine's detractor.

-Has Lani landed any record deal so far yet from any Vegas-based record company? Na-ahh! She's been there for nearly a year now. Following the same hype that Martin's so-called "going international career" just because the dude perform in another strip in Vegas?

-If Lani is already as good as you like to believe, what do you know so far in her pathetic 3-4 year musical career here in the Philippines? None of her albums are considered successful as such not one hit the gold record mark.

-If Lani is as good as you would like us to accept, why would she even left the country where she enjoys the considerable respect due to a diva, and settle inbstead for a hotel gig in Vegas?

you're blinded by your fanaticism over Lani. You damn well know that. Regine has proven her musical worth in history of music. Regine so far is the only Pinay singer who successfully released 3 major albums across Asia, Two-time MTV Asia awardee, spearheaded and grand finale to the 2002 1st Lunar Parade In Orange County, Hollywood where throngs of Pinoys and foreigners gathered to watched her (and you say she's not that known in USA???),all her films are blockbuster, her albums all multi-platinum, the only Pinay singer who have the most number of foreign collaborations.

I could on with the list. The question is HAS LANI COMES CLOSED TO THAT??? AND HERE YOU ARE PRATTLING OVER HER RELATIVELY SUCCESSFUL STINT IN A HOTEL IN VEGAS??? HAD CELINE DION EVER WATCHED HER WHO HAPPENED TO BE PERFORMING IN ANOTHER STINT JUST ACROSS THE BLOCK FROM WHERE LANI IS AND CONGRATULATED HER??? I DON'T THINK SO.

LANI IS STILL A STRUGGLING SINGER!!!

How can she be famous? Nobody knows her.. only the flip community. Martin and Jose Mari Chan performed for several months hoping to get a record deal but end up nothing. I'm glad Lani's singing there but telling me that she's famous? I frequent Las Vegas but nobody was talking about her. By the way, she looks painful in her advertisement photo.

Jose Mari Chan was hoping for a music deal? Wow.. He
could hook-up with some company himself and co-producer
his own U.S. mainsteam album release. Heck, he could
probably buy is own recording company. Last I read his
hotel on Roxas Blud was est to be worth 900 million pesos.

Martin still looking for a music recording deal in the
U.S.?! My gulay.. Still having problems hooking up with
the kind of people that sees his music sound and style
a sellable music commodity. I don't see much about any
high profile recording company being based in Las Vegas.

He needs to serious do some artist-producer-company bosses
networking. What he should get someone to do is get his
best albums in stores there and show some of the action
on the local radio music charts for the adult comtemporary
lisleners. I doubt he'll make any Pop charts. No big deal
for Las Vegas, imagine..

Sus. What can be done for that guy? He's there. He should
hire a U.S. agent and publicist. Is that an ok idea with
his publicist over here? Mr. Boy Abunda the world's top
negative character destroying media publicist. I don't
think your kind of tricks of the trade can help me there.
It could get you and him in alot of trouble though. But
heaven forbid something foolish happened with you in the
U.S. like what happened to Nora. Who will be degrading you
on your own show then?

Invest in Martin, Backroom dirt, Inc. Put your friendship
where your money is hiding and work a deal for both Martin
and Lani to work together for an album of new material.

There's enough pinoys to help it go platinum. In dollars
even..

Oh, in regards to the thread above on Lani in Las Vegas..
I don't know why Abunda and Backroom is bothering with
spending money to hype her appearances there the way we
been reading it in our local media. What is that L.A.
promoter hoping to gain new from it? Raise real cash for
once. Drop the media fluff for once and do something
real for once. Get involve. Support our artists in Las
Vegas, Mr. Abunda.. Take leave from your shameless tv
showbz talk show and do something impressive in Las Vegas.

Because frankly you're pretty boring with your style.
I'm not impressed at all. Surprise everyone but doing
something that has some heart and is real for once.

Help Martin. Spend that money while it hasn't been
proven yet it shold belong to artists like Regine.
