I personally don't require Reg to belt out in every song she sings. I've been following her career since Teen Pan Alley days pa. I've learned to love & respect her style and her talent through the years. Because of this, whenever she sings songs na walang masyadong Regine Magic, eh I can't help but miss her glorious days of belting and proving to the world na she's got IT. Like I said, I would've preferred her singing "Sa Ugoy ng Duyan" over "Kahit Konting Pagtingin". Can't wait to see her on the 15th though...

hi Don,

I actually agree with you that Reg doesn't need to belt out all the time. In fact, I love her more when she croons mellow tunes (you are my song, and would you believe i truly like her version of superstar and one love)...

i just felt in the last back to back that she should be right on top when the occassion calls for it. last sunday's b2b was one of those "high" occassions. i think choosing "kahit konting pagtingin" was a bad choice of a song. a george canseco song would've been nice. i saw her perform sa ugoy ng duyan in that National Artist's concert before and it was great.

oh well.... i guess as an audience, i really can't have it all.:)

Could it be that she just didn't wanna overshadow her co-artists and chose a less birit song instead?

could be. hopefully, without sacrificing her vocal integrity too.... she owes it to her fans.... maybe "kahit konting pagtingin", i found so drab and wished it could have been another song....

i was hoping she had sang "lagi kitang naaalala". but oh well. i guess we're so used to hearing her sing more challenging and dificult songs that we are not contented with her singing plainly. or it could be that i am just prejudice coz i never liked that song (kahit konting pagtingin).

well i think that number was ok. she was soooooo pretty there, one of the prettiest ive seen her...look at her especially right after the song when i think she looked at someone and nodded, she was BEAUTIFUL....and her rendition of the song was great too....especially by the end when you can relly feel how low her voice was .... nice change....even just for a bit
