Jun:
And she normally knows that pretty well.
But something has changed at some time and it
wasn't that noticible to most people. There
seems to be some factors involve that is not
publicly known even to the sharp and keen
music people around. You know, for some
reason them working together was being
ignored and not taken as a musical event.

There's been a couple of strange and unusual
happenings with this show so far. One was
the cancelling of the Pampanga show. Which I
think became the 12 March show. So there may
have been enough pre-tickets sold to justify
having the concert. I guess you didn't know
that tidbit.

You said:
>Then Regine insiders would say, the above statement is
>baseless coming from an entirely outsider like this
>writer.

Jun:
This is Regine's forum. Not her Clone's forum.
Regine insiders meaning her music camp, right? That
don't happen as far as I know. Writers for her aren't
always the same ones. And I rarely see any writers
go over-the-top with reviewing her. I can't stand
sip-sip reviews that are also paid. Usually they are
right on the button. They even complain a little.

You said:
> Otherwise, all reviewers must then have
>always to come from artists' respective camps and paid
>PRs. Eh?

Jun:
I can agree. I notice that is the case with another
artist I been eyballing alot. But not always the
case with Regine. We been sharing reviews from her
regular fan list members like 2NET, Don and other
fans. The paid ones when they been coming are not
as enjoyable as the ones being done by fans.

You said:

>But no, they enmeshed the show with Sex bomb, hot babes,
>TV search winners, voila, a perfect Chopsuey recipe.
>Smorgasboard, that is. Why?

Jun :

Ok. This reviewer has brought up something interesting.
That one is a good question to ask. And I wonder who
is to be asked considering how many different managers
you'll need to contact. The dancing part of the show
sounds like the highlight of it.

But it could be good question to bring up to Viva.
Who picked the co-stars of that show. And was the
winner of 'Star in a Million' appropiate if you
think about it? Who made the deal for that? But
the SFAS seemed right since they are part of her
TV show.

You said mistakenly:
>First, regine has no new latest album to back her
>repertoire up except a rehash of her old songs and
>some covers.

Jun:

Opps. They are suppose to be promoting their new
duet album. I might be 'live' but I seen the cover.
Its the same as their concert poster. The album
has turned gold. I'm surprised you didn't hear
about the album being out. I guess.

You said:

Second, there is not much to expect from
>Ogie after series of Araneta shows, better man and
>anniv concerts at the big dome.

Jun:

You know the time-lines to her shows? How long ago
they were? The Better man is old. He had a newer album.
He's on the front with a bunch of flowers around him.
Not sure how well it is selling.

You stated:

>Then all the more
>people should ask, then why have a show?
Regine was done with Martin. Her collabo with
>Gary was foregone and back dated.
>Ogie was left. Why not?

Jun: I thought she was going to have it with Ariel.
But something came out? It was expected. Ariel had
a new album. But I think it had to do with Ariel
and wife pulling out. But it could come up again.
So it was planned as Ariel first. Then Ogie out
of the blue but good timing..

YOu said:

> On two shows, later a repeat, making
>it a third show. That was IRRESPONSIBLE!

Jun:

You been sorely misinformed and it leaves your
review with alot of correcting info. The 3rd
show was kind of transfered from Pampanga to
the Dome. Check the info that was posted at
the start of this post. It could be justified
if a large number of tickets were already sold
before they changed it to the 12 march.

You right said:

>Why? She had nothing to gain being flanked with Sex
>bomb and hot babes. Their talents have no relevance
>to her at all. I was forced further to establish the
>connection. Ah-HA!

Jun:

Well, people may have been shocked at first. No doubt.
It makes an intriguing thought to consider. Who was in
charge on this show? Seems Viva called the shots for
the guest stars and a few other things. This is an
unusual show for Regine alright. Downright strange
so there is not doubt a few tidbits not being shared
about the whole thing.

U said;

>The pay remained uneliminated.
>Yes, her professional fees. Tsk,tsk,tsk... Why? No
>much money could be enough. I am resigned to the fact.

Jun:

You make it sound like she's something she's not. If
anything she did the show for someone else. Which looks
like Viva. I find it hard to believe this show would
have come about with Regine thinking about it on her
own. It looks like a real Viva production.

You said:

>Why? for crying out loud, people paid up entrance fees.
>artists have to appear revved up and extra willing to
>execute those inane steps to please them. Why? Again
>there was a dearth of sensible materials, no more no

>to do with herself in a joint concert. SOS please to
>fill up the 2.5 hours show. Pathetic. REgine and
>martin had no guest to speak of. The show survived
>three (3) repeats. Even that show was born out of pure
>business reasons. No REgine -Martin collaboration
>preceded it.

Jun:

You're scratching something there. But you're mostly
hiting only the surface to me. If there is something
going on we'll need more than just what is being
preceived. Though interesting observations. No doubt.
But I don't think Regine was required or expected
to take the usual active role in this series. It
is starting to sound like it was only a Viva thingy
that was made to look like a usual inspiraing Regine
show when in fact I'm now thinking it was really
more of a Ogie show. Otherwise she would have been
more involve I think. And it sounds like she wasn't
working the show like she usually does for other
reasons. This show may need some explaning. And
then who helped packaged it. hmmm..

You said:

>This is no longer the

Jun:
Really? Now I'm wondering. This ain't normal fare
we are hearing. But there was a report about her
having migraine again at SFAS last saturday.

You said:

>She's been killing herself. After her 2-wk Europe
>tours, she was off for the mar 12 repeat, the SFAS
>grand finals with most of her vocals filling up the
>show. Who invincible does she think she is?

Jun:

I worry like everyone else. But this girl has some
real endurance in her. There's been several calls for
her to relax more. But she does has her family
watching over herw. I like to think they are all
paying attention if she's overworked. So its hard
to buy but it should also be looked into anyway.
Just in case.

Your post is accepted. Its always good to have
a fan's fiest hand review. Some of your opinions
will defintely be a topic to be discussed with
some of her good caring fans. But some of the
other stuff was more of late or just misinformed
in an unlimely manner. But still I appreciate
you having posted your thoughts here.

Will be watching out for some reviews from
her U,S, tour.

mmJun

Trying as best as I should to take some of the reviews
with the best open-mindedness I can muster. Some good
points were brought up. It seems Viva is running this
show more than she was. Not too good. Quite alot of
negative commnets.

needs to be redone.

Will do it later. So don't post under
here. It will get deleted by accident.
