Alam nyo, dapat din tayong matutong tumanggap ng judgement. I sort of agree with what Nestor Torree said about our Songbirds acting ability. Shes been doing movies and I think its now time for her to choose other roles that will challenge her capabilities as an actress. Enough with all patweetums na story coz its getting so predictable. Look at Pops Fernandez. Never mind if her movies like Linlang and Gusto Ko Lang Lumigaya are flops but its a different acting vehicle for her. Sana makagawa din si Regine ng ganung klaseng mga movies and Im it wont be long. And Just because her movie is such a big hit doesnt mean its flawless! Lahat na lang ba ng ginagawa ni Regine kailangan gustuhin natin kahit na so-so lang ang work nya? I think true fans should also see faults and flaws of their idol. Anyway never mind. Its not like Regine will listen to whatever were saying here anyway. Nasasakanya lahat yun di ba!?

Please.. she's foremost the number one singer. She
doesn't really need that kind of challenge.

Besides, I seen what our movie scene consider challenges
for our actresses. My mother calls it exploitation.

( but you're right. If we took the movie scene serious.
But we don't. And for good reasons. That was only one of them.)

Jun: You mean where she's on the beach getting down and
dirty (I mean sandy) with Richard Gomez? What a story..
Something about a unfaithful husband if I'm not mistaken.

And then there 'Gusto Ko Lang Lumigaya where she gets
raped by 5 different men while Albert Martinez watches.
It was X-rated by the way. And was shown on Viva TV around
5pm on a Sunday. The kids at the mall got a eyeful of it.
I'm sure they weren't thinking 'Pops is really a good
actress! I really believe she's being raped there.' lol.

Exploitation big time. Those movies are probably why Pops
been getting real hate mail on her fan site. They started
coming in after those movies. I had to even ask someone
attached to the NBI about what they could do when a fan
threatens an artist the way one did one time. (it may still
be posted in the Pops Interactive board. Or our response to
that media-influenced maniac.)

Pops wanted to be taken as a serious actress. Regine is
probably having the time of her life during filming. Unless
Aga is showing up late at the shooting site. lol. Sorry..
I think till the movie becomes a flop we'll see more of
the same. Maybe you should be writing Viva Mel for a better
story. Personally the idea of Regine being a stalker didn't
sound like something up Reg's alley in the first place. She's
on the mailing lists. Wanna bet she'll past any word to
Regine? If she considered it a good one I mean.

Jun: I can agree with you there. Ok, I'm bias. Since I
don't even watch her movies. Just parts as I come across
them TV surfing. But I read what fans are saying. And more
than most are just happy to watch her on the screen. They
don't care as much about the acting and the movie. How else
can you explain soomeone watching her movie 6-8 times in a
row!

Who says she doesn't? Maybe she don't always know where
the actual information comes from sometimes. But have no
doubts.. there are times she knows about the very topics
we discuss in here.

I'm surprise with some of the fanatics who can't seem to
get enough news regarding the artist.. if you're reading
and digesting all the information properly you'll be able
to see how some of the things we bring up are also being
touched in the mainsteam media. As many times as it happens
I'm surprised more fans aren't catching on. Its already been
suggested several times in the Regine mailing lists by other
fans besides me. Even a couple of the ones we considered
'crabby' mentioned something about it a few times.

Especially when the topic is in regards to U-know-who. And
I'm talking about the artist fondly known in here as Regine's
clone. Go back and read all the points and complains that
were brought up by this forum. Then follow what is going
on with that artist now. She's practically got a major
complete overhaul!

What can I say? Except where do I send my counsultant bill.
