Did you see the show, Regine fan Robert?
Wasn't that a cool interview?!

I'll tell what was really cool! And this wasn't
part of the interview. We went to eat lunch at
a foreign organization that caters to non-members
for their in-house eatery. the place has a cable-TV
in every corner that is usually showing CNN. It was
a cool feeling being there among a packed house
with so many foreigners eating while watching
Regine do her interview on CNN-TALK that day.

Watching some of them giving their nod of approval
for some of her responses. While their wives
(or girlfriends) can be heard telling their friends
among the crowd that they reconized Regine on the
TV. The only annoying moment to this fab day
was when some women mentioned out loud that she
heard Regine was a Tom Boy. Geez..

So a moment of glory was forced upon me once
again when I felt I had to speak up and say 'no she
isn't.' Glad she gave me a happy surprised smile than
the usual dumb blank stare I usual get elsewhere when
answering that kind of wondering. Nice people there.

I was able to meet this one lady who mentioned also
loudly she watched Regine when she appeared at every-
one's favorite casino last year . . Mimosa Casino

She said she sat right in front in the p1,000 seats
and didn't really notice any kind of commotion when
Regine was singing and our favorite clueless branch
manager of the casino came on stage. So those stories
being passed around (some were sure they are casino
employees pretending to be just music fans present that
night) about everyone there watching noticing what
happened isn't true. This nice lady said she wasn't
turned off by anything Regine said on stage that night.
If anything she likes Regine even more!

Goes to show you again.. that the things fans hear or
been told aren't always the things that actually happened.

What we been hearing most of the time was just the version
of that branch manager. Who just was upset because he got
his pride slapped pretty good by our idol. It probably
serves his right. For showing up on the stage without
clearing it with Regine's camp (personal manager) and
for not knowing anything about Regine in the first place.

Usually it should be a manager who actually knows or met
the artist pior to the actual show. Its not the artist's
fault when someone she's not familar with comes on stage
and doesn't know a thing about her show tactics. Every fan
knows Regine likes to crack jokes. He just didn't get it
and took it wrong. He claims he was insulted. But if you
ask me he's the one who is insulting. The next time he'll
know better than to walk on-stage of a major concert artist
without asking permission first. That was Regine's show.
Not his.

He didn't have the right to do as he pleased just because
he's the branch manager of that casino. I like to add
'very intriguing' casino. Alot of interesting things
going on up there I hear.

It wasn't even in the actual casino. But the parking lot!
And he has the gall to ban our girl from the place? Big
wow.. Regine doesn't gamble.

Besides all that.. he was probably going on stage to make
it look like he knew the artist personally. Then he would
invite Regine fans to visit the casino after the show. So
they could lose whatever money they had on their person.
He wouldn't have cared about anything else. You can bet
he'll care a little more today. lol..

mmJun
You think he would have wavered the p100.00 enterence fee
or at least give the concert watchers some casino coins
worth p50.00 or more pesos like they do when the casino
sponsors bingo games. Cheap manager.

His big mistake was thinking he's more important that our
idol. Maybe just to his kiss-up employees. But managers like
him can be replaced. Our artist will never be. Certainly
not by any wanna-be like U-know-who. So now Regine
probably may never sing in any casino again because of
our favorite clueless casino branch manager. And I
personally want to thank him for it. Really. Because
when I was there recently I saw one of our country's
best diva singers on one the card tables. And
she wasn't too looking too happy about her game
that night. I heard she got started into playing
the casino after she did a few shows for Pagcor.
That part of her talent fee was paid in casino chips.

The last thing Regine fans want to hear is that
their idol is on the verge of becoming a gambling
addict like the one I saw is becoming. And the last
thing Regine needs to hear is some of her fans
telling her they became one too after they saw
her perform at a casino and got hooked after
they paid a visit to the slot machines after
she performed.

So thank you branch manager of Mimosa for
banning Regine from your casino. You may
have actually saved the day. But I still
hope Regine goes through with her idea of
suing you. Because someone should if only
to teach you a lesson about people. And
you're just a manager. Not a God.
