Looks like another attempt to try and get Regine and
Lani to do a concert together. Though this time the
conection to Lani's camp is really a far out one.
Which doesn't surprise me one bit. After the last
attempts were smashed by us because it was obvious
who was behind the push for it. This one isn't so
direct.

Ok. Let's say this really is just a informal survey
by an actual disinterested party.. Its a dumb thing
in reality. Why would having Regine and Lani be such
a great show to watch?! Regine has her hits songs and
Lani has only the same songs Regine sings in between
her hit songs! Martin and Regine was the ticket. And
this looks like an attempt to capitalize on the fact
Regine and Martin is a hot ticket together. So why not
her and Lani?

It wasn't that hot before when Regine guested in her show so why
would it be now? Besides, Regine was helping her then.
Is Lani intending to pay back the favor by not trying
to outdo Regine in such a show? I doubt it. She's known
for showboating.

Its an old debate. And it was settled too. The fact is
Regine DID NOT/DOES NOT want to do it. And that settles
it to me. I think Regine made herself perfectly clear
already .. she does not want to be used to further
just any singers career anymore. Seems to me she'll
decide who benefits and who she wants to help. Not who
makes her. So Lani has been out of the question and
as far as I seen that hasn't changed. It would probably
be a good idea if it was being done with good intentions.
But we al saw what's been happening. When the first articles
were coming out about a Regine-Lani concert it was in the
middle of Lani copying everything Regine was doing. So much
for good intentions..

But maybe this survey isn't being endorsed (or sponsored)
by Regine's ex-handlers camp. Benefit of a doubt is given
and should be at the moment. Because they been good the last
few months. And no one appreciated that more than me. (I bet
Regine probably noticed the calm in showbiz news too.)

But we're still watching what's coming out in the media
like a hawk on the prowl. Don't let anybody out there make
the mistake that just because there's been several interesting
and intriguing developments going on in the Regine mailing
lists that we could be easily distracted from the other things.
There are plenty of fans around making sure this site kept
well informed so keep that in mind.

Yeah, right. Does Lani write songs? Regine and Ogie make
beautiful music together. Lani and Regine can only do
so many duets. A female needs a male partner. This is
the first time I heard something like this is in demand.

Fans want Sharon and Regine. Only Lani's camp want Lani
and Regine.

is common in other parts of the world. There's no other way she will get noticed in USA. Lani may do good in Asia only but I doubt it can surpass Regine's achievement. Regine and Lani concert? I think not. Let Lani have her own concert as Regine is too busy making new steps on her career.

Hello to visitor Mistique! I'm mmJun the visible forum
monitor. Have you been here before or is this one of
your first visits? Welcome.

About your question you asked.. it is a big deal. But its
a big difference too. I'm not going to get into all the
details because there are alot of information about the
issue/subject all over the archives. I request you go

**REGINE FANS ALERT**


Because of a few recent developments to some of
the issues we been discussing in regards to Lani and her
handlers. (One who happens to be Regine's ex-manager)
I will be refraining from putting out any more flaming
posts that criticizes them till further notice. And I
like to request that music fans do the same for the
time being. I'm talking about any of the old issues
only. About Lani being Regine's clone. About Lani
copying Regine like she was looking into a mirror..
things like that. I'm doing it as a show of mutual
respect to someone who has been giving our opinions
alot of attention and has reacted to them with some
positive action. The least we can do is give back
some of the same kind of respect as well. All Lani
flaming and bashing are officially 'on-hold' at our
Song Bird forums. More information about this new
very welcomed development will be shared with our
regular viewers at a better time.

Please turn off and put away all your flamer throwers
at this time. ;-)

As I use to some Regine fans -
these forums aren't just a place to see what is new
and happening. But the place to help make things happen.

All Im saying is that I dont see any problem if ever Regine And Lani decides to do a concert together. Just because Regine and Martine clicked in the concert scene, doesnt mean Regine cant do a concert with another Diva, which brought my attention to the past concert of Regine and Pops. All Im saying is if Regine had done it before with Pops, why not with Lani? I heard they are good friends and there is no animosity between this two...its just the fans of both camps making loud noises.

wife Bing would be considered a better friend than
Lani has been. Though there is no doubt Bing 'annoys'
Regine more than Gelli does these days.

Regine is very civil when it comes to being nice to
other person even those who are obviously being hostile
to her. And Lani isn't considered anything else than
'dead-on, down-right hostile' to Regine personally when
she has been interviewed on several occasions. You'd think
she was declaring war or something on Regine. Which is
pretty strange since I dont recall Regine being accused
of trying to steal Lani's husband or taking away Lani's
chance to perform with any international singers like
Brian McKnight. Some fans think she was implying Regine
did before in regards to McKnight.

As for only fans of both artists trying to flame any kind of
animosity between them. Thats been happening mostly with

real scoop of the matter..

That Lani's manager who happens to be Regine's ex-manager is
still not happy about Regine flying from his 'bird cage' and
going out on her own. And since then he seems to be on a
evil quest to take personal revenge on Regine and may be using
Lani as a weapon and intends to make Lani her replacement
in the music scene someday. Hence the inside joke 'Regine's
Clone'. And there is alot of strong indications that he may
be attacking the Song Bird by using his 'insider' ties
in certain media circles. Who else would dare call Regine
'The Package Deal Queen' for helping her relatives when its
a known fact that Comedy King-"Dolphy" let's alot of his own
friends and relatives appear in his family TV series? And a
few other things that'll take days to explain and clarify.

Like..
When a sharp fan in L.A. mentioned the producer who is one
of the people responsible for Regine losing her U.S. visa before
is making it extremely obvious that she is supporting Lani and
thinks Lani is better than Regine at a time most of Lani's fans now
didn't even know Lani had any musical fuse to lit up much less be
compared to Regine someday.

And as this site has mentioned before.. Lani's camp isn't
asking Regine anymore to perform with her in a major concert
together.. instead they are pretty much trying to force her
to. And as good as an idea as it may be to have these two
artists sing together- I for one is against it simply because
Regine made it known she is. Not because her fans don't like
it. Alot of her fans don't like the idea of Regine performing
with her true love-breaking but the one-and-only boyfriend she
ever had in concert again. But Regine does. So we support
her on that. I hope this makes things a little clear for you
and you don't continue to think its just a fan thing. Its
as personal as it can get. And we here intend to let those
who think Regine is just some dumb defenseless province girl
in the shark-infested ocean of showbiz to better take note..

A few of us gentle but huge whale sharks have something to show
you. We actually have sharp teeth in our mouths thats unknown
to most biologists. lol.. And we have taken a keen interest
in protecting endanger song birds who fly over our ocean
to perform in other countries. (like Canada)

And that's the buzz, girlfriend. The inside word as it

If thats the case then whats the point of Lani staying in SOP as a host with Regine? Wow, I didnt know na ganyan pala ang situation nila Reg and Lani. So puro ka-plastikan lang pala ang ginagawa nila sa SOP when both artist are there?

GOOD QUESTION! Aba. What about when Lani signed with with
VIVA RECORDS?! Did anyone heard what Lani said at the
press conference?! My god! Stunned me silly . .

Sometimes things are really backwards in our society. Black
is white while white is black. Take for example what you
just mentioned. NOBODY thought there was a situation going
on behind the minds of the artists while they are performing
on SOP. Probably because they are professionals. But recent
incidents from Bing tells you there are things that's been
going on for years and nobody noticed it. We are a nation
of people who believe only what we see rather than seeking
the truth which can easily be hidden. And then look what
happened when Lea Salonga appeared on SOP. One idiot is all
it took to make so many people believe Lea has something
against Regine while you know now Lani has always been
there in the background.

The question now is this. Is Lani a part of the problem or
is just doing what she is told to do. But if you ask me to
apply a logical way of thinking I would have to say at her
age it is highly possible she is more of a willing victim
to this continuing on-going 'real-life' soap opera. But I
like to add may have been stopped recently.

All this information was posted because the questions were
asked and not offered. There will be no Lani & her camp
flaming unless the question asked leaves it as the only
answer to it.
