Not sure if everyone got to see our Songbird in Boy Abunda's "Kontrobersyal". In separate interviews, Boy featured two divas: our beloved Regine and Didith Reyes, famous for her "Bakit Ako Mahihiya" song.
Boy tackled intriguing topics about Reg like her nose, her skin, her adoption issue, her figure, etc.
Once and for all, she strongly denied the issue about her nose. She admitted that she had her teeth fixed. And, if she indeed had something enhanced in her, it's her money anyway so it shouldn't be a big deal.
She didn't want to talk to the people claiming that she is their missing daughter. She already had recollections when she's 3 or 4 years old. Why bother at all!
She doesn't have any vice at all. She doesn't smoke nor drink.
The show also featured Hinundayan, Leyte. It's Reg's mother hometown. It's now called "Songbird Country". People know where Reg lives. People told childhood stories. When she was a kid, people there used to give her cents for every song she sings. This happened every time she buys something in the sari-sari store.
Boy also featured Mang Gerry's views. He's always been there for Reg, her security blanket, you can say. But lately, Reg has been making decisions for herself and for her career that Mang Gerry felt a bit sad. All he wanted before was for Reg to become a recording artist. He wasn't expecting her to be THIS big. He wanted Reg to have her own family.
She fears losing the spotlight. She wants to quit even before she becomes "laos". She knows it will come someday. It happens.

I missed that show. Hey, I saw the one the week before.
Man, there is something about Boy that puzzles me. The
show was really shocking! Alot of nasty nude stuff in
between the interviews. I was surprised Boy did the piece.
But then again.. look at the show's title. eh?
