GOOD THEME. if that's really their purpose, to show that SOP's host can give a better rendition to those songs, bad timing coz umpisa pa lang nagkamali na si lanie misalucha when she sang ZSAZSA's greatest hit, HIRAM. obvious yung mali. and even ogie who came next, nagkamali ng pasok sa hit song ni POPS na DONT SAY GOODBYE. jaya and janno, did a martin hit, IKAW ANG LAHAT SA AKIN and KAHIT ISANG SAGLIT respectively and i can say medyo nakabawi sa wrong mistakes nung first two. and obviously, an ARIEL RIVERA hit na lang ang nawawala and only REGINE was left so she sang MINSAN LANG KITA IIBIGIN.HMMMM. REMINISCIN. i dont know what you will think of their theme for today's back to back. but for me, they dont have to do that just to prove that theyre the best. obviously they are the best. pero, in my own opinion, its uncalled for. unless they will say, they're sort of giving tributes to this singers and their contribution to the industry. but, come on... As I was waiting for Regine's slot at the Back2back2back portion, I txted MSL and told her that I wish Regine would render a beautiful song... MSL txted back and said that maybe Reg would sing Boyong's song (Ariel's)... and I almost choked when Regine did "Minsan lang kitang iibigin"--- a favorite Ariel song of Regine.
