Jm says:

I agree. Especially bickering about them in comparison.

What I like to talk about and hopefully get a clue and find
an answer for is why does something like that happen? Its
been more than a decade and this is the first time I seen
this issue happen. (like this) But wait.. didn't we have
this kind of thing happen with Regine-Pops? And Regine and
a whole mess of other singers??!

What does that mean anyway? Seriously speaking. Why does
it happen. And is it telling something about the media
generation today that isn't being realized by any good
and responsible people out there. I see a big underlining
problem here. And not just a simple case of media manipulation.

Too big for me to understand. That's for sure.

Jm says:
Well, if we know how one wins we'll know where to look if
'strange winners' start coming out of the blue again. If
the winners are picked by peers then one can guess that the
winner is either a respected artist who deserves to win. Or
that artist has alot of friends who vote to please that
person. Or that artist and company been out collection votes
for the last few weeks.

Since that film fest scam some years ago I would never let
it go pass me that it could easily happen in the music side
as well.

Did I ever tell you guys that when I was checking out that
FHM Sexiest women vote poll last year that I saw 10,000 votes
just appear within one hour for one local artist and then
for Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer won that one. You may wonder
why would anyone care if she won or not in that poll.

Jennifer also won the poll in the US one. It was announced
in USA TODAY. And that newspaper mentions the won she won
in our country. The week before the poll Jennifer's latest
movie "The Cell" opened in Manila. And I found out that
the U.S. distributor of her movie has an office in Manila.
That poll became fixed on a grand scale when I saw that
happen. ( The local S.T. actress who also gained 10,000
votes suddenly was probably trying to get higher on the poll
so her handlers can use it as helpful advertising for her.
Being a popular sexy actress these days isn't so easy anymore.)

Both 10,000 votes were done by the cell phone votes. Its
easy to believe that Jennifer's movie reps thought that was
a cheap way to promote her. No doubt.

And just to prove there is big money behind that artist's
image/name.. just a few days ago there was half a page of
a Jennifer Lopez AD in the local newspaper about her new
perfume. Need I say more?

By the way, her husband is half-filipino. We have some
foreign frineds who knew where his parents pinoy resturant
is located in the US. It has their son and Jennifer pics
all over the place. I already mentioned about bringing
some of Regine's CD's there and opening some kind of
communications to see if there's any possibilities to come
out of it. But that ended a few weeks ago when I read
Jennifer is devorcing the guy. tsk, tsk..

Such a shame in more ways that one.

So we now know Regine lost to Lani as Entertainer of the Year.

You theories are now unfolding....

Strange but true.

Lani Misalucha does not have a hit song to her name. How can she possibly be Entertainer of the Year?
